Publish or Share a Blog

On this page:

To view the publishing and sharing status of a blog:

  1. Go to the My Page tab

  2. Locate the Writing Tools area

  3. Select the Blogs icon

    4. Accessing the Blogs

    Below each blog title on the main Your Blogs page, it states if it is published or shared with anyone.

    Published?

To publish a blog:

  1. Select the blog you want to publish

  2. Select Manage this Blog from the Options menu

  3. Click the Publishing, Sharing, and Advanced Options tab

  4. Click on the Control Who Can View this Blog link.

    5. Viewing

This will take you to the Share Your Blog management page, where you see Published: No.

  1. Click on the (Change) link to update the status of the Blog from Published: No to Published: Yes

    2. Publishing a Blog

To share your blog with a Class or Wiki:
  1. Select the blog you want to share

  2. Select Manage this Blog from the Options menu

  3. Click the Publishing, Sharing, and Advanced Options tab

  4. Click on the Control Who Can View this Blog link

This will take you to the Share Your Blog management page

  1. Click the Manage link next to the appropriate option

    2. Blog Management

You will be provided with a list of Classes or Wikis available.

  1. Click the Share with this Class/Wiki or Remove from this Class/Wiki link as appropriate

    2. Share With X

To share your blog with Individuals:

  1. Click the Manage link next to Share with Individuals

  2. Search for the writer by last name or email address

  3. Find the correct writer and click on the Share link

To remove an Individual's access to your blog:

  1. Click the Manage link next to Share with Individuals

  2. Click the Remove link to the right of the name
